Jim
has practiced in law in Saskatchewan since 1977 and is a
Partner with Scharfstein Gibbings Walen Fisher. Jim's practice
focuses on corporate commercial law. Jim is an accredited
mediator and has completed the program on negotiation at
Harvard University in Boston. In addition to his law practice
Jim has served on the board of directors of many non-profit
and for-profit corporations in Canada. In 1992 he was awarded
a Commemorative Medal for the 125th anniversary of the Confederation
of Canada and in 2005 he was awarded a Saskatchewan Centennial
Medal in recognition of service to the community. Jim lives
in Saskatoon with his wife Jan and their four daughters.
